Naw, ...... the cord is relativley thin. I keep the temp on low cause it can get very warm in there. Only down side is if those wanting to eat the skin on a bird, the skin will not be crispy. Those I`ll heat up on my grill.

I'm thinking of making some sort of sleeve/box that I can put the meat in, out of reflectix w/ a velcro closure for the open end so I can just slide the foiled goods into it and retain all the heat. Which I would then place in a cooler. Thoughts? Might need to make it a bit large to allow the juices some room to roam I guess.

Kinda like deja vu all over again,

Another good reason I use the towel(s) is to help get the brisket or butt back out of the cooler without tipping it around and about, losing those special juices.

I put a layer of towels in the cooler. Then a large foil pan. Put the foiled meat in the foil pan and cover with another towel.

I use newspapers, they get a little damp from the steam. I need to saran wrap.
