i love the taste of A1, but dont want to cover up the flavor of a steak with it. is there anything else you use A1 for?

A1 is for steak only. If you don't care for it on steak you will not like it on anything else. But by all means, rub your $40+ brisket with it.

I concur! The twang from the A1 is enough to really change the flavor, but the ketchup dilutes it enough that people can't seem to tell what that flavor is.

I seen it used in some kind of Exotic Bloody Mary on some Funky Food Show.......

Some said the same about mayo but that was proved wrong :boxing:

Actually it's not bad on fried zucchini occasionally. I have also used it on dry meatloaf , mediocre burgers and some of those vegetarian attempts at fake meat.

The cheeky response is "it's for overcooked steak"

I'm not crazy about using it on steak (any steak) but have used it for burgers and meatloaf to good effect.
