You are cordially invited to attend the Iowa Barbeque Society Annual awards banquet and meeting.
The event will be held on January 21, 2012 at 3M in Ames, Iowa.
Absolute Flavors/ Smokey D's will be catering a full meal including Hors D' oeuvres, dinner buffet, and dessert, along with iced tea and lemonade. The menu includes Grilled Flank steak with hunter sauce, Herb Roasted Chicken Breast, BLT Salad, Warm Chocolate Cherry Cake and Apple Cobbler to name a few of the items.
*Feel free to bring your own adult beverages.
Annual meeting will be held at 4:00pm,happy hour at 5:00pm, with dinner at 6:00pm.
There will be an awards program, silent auction, door prizes, and a meeting.
This year the registration for the banquet is being done online. Tickets can be purchased by going to the following link:
The banquet tickets are $20.00 per person until January 14 2012, after January 14, 2012 the price increases to $25.00 per person. You can pay with Paypal or credit card now and print your tickets off at home or mail a check. You can also register online and mail payment in if you would like to pay that way. All tickets purchased at the door will be $25.00. Online registration is strongly encouraged but means of payment is up to you.
A block of rooms has also been reserved at the Quality Inn for attendees as well at a rate of $79.00.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the banquet for a night of food, fun, fellowship, prizes, and to celebrate another year of barbeque!
