Heat Wave Cheese Woes
I grate my cheese as needed as often as possible. Today was no exception. I made mini chicken quesadillas and grated Monterey Jack and Medium Cheddar. Pre-grated, packaged cheese is coated so it will not clump up in the packaging, and you can taste it when you use it, and I like to avoid that. But given our wonderful weather, the cheese re-clumped to an extent just sitting on the counter, making it a bit difficult to use. Sure tasted awesome as usual. Anyway, just a bummer I'm sure we've all dealt with the past weeks. Cheers!!

During the colder months the butter in the dish is very hard to spread, so there is that. It's always a treat when it starts warming up and the butter 'works' again.
And sometimes, when I have toast, it makes crumbs. |
