Luella's Bar-B-Que, Asheville NC
Stopped in a Luella's Bar-B-Que in Asheville NC while driving through to the beach last week.
They have nice local beers. Menu I ordered the 3 meat combo (chopped pork, sliced turkey, sliced brisket) with collards and brunswick stew for sides. It was all pretty good. The brisket was dryer than I would like and probably had been sitting for a bit, but it had good flavor, smoke ring and tenderness. The pork is hidden under the turkey. The turkey was really good. I loved the greens too. All in all, worth a stop.
