I would love to have one of those tables, but will have to settle for the camp stove or the camp fire!

The DO table is one of the best cooking inventions ever (for cooking in hot weather)! I still like my open fire in the winter though.

I bought a few dutch ovens last spring and have used them once. Bought the table as well and love it, but the open pit looks to be a lot more fun. I will just need to get a longer lid lifter.
I only wish I would have gotten an 8 or a 10 and not two 12's. Kind of hard to cook for 2 in a 12. That and time have been planning to pull them out and do some chicken in on of them since Wednesday.

I absolutely love that rock fire pit ! Here are a few pics of a cook I did last week. Someone gave me a carmel roll recipe to try. It turned out delicious but had way too much runny carmel sauce. I asked the person who gave me the recipe if I did it right and they said yes, but.... they forgot to mention that I should have cooked the carmel sauce in a pot to thicken it before pouring over the biscuits! I am going to try it again tommorow.
For every tube of "el cheapo" biscuits use 3/4 cup butter, 3/4 cup heavy wipping cream, and 3/4 cup brown sugar. Add a dash of cinnamon and heat mixture until sugar disolves and starts to thicken. Pour over the biscuits in your DO and bake for 35 min or until done. Tip oven over onto platter and let the biscuits and carmel slide out. (This part got realy messy!)

Thanks for the post! My wife and I have been thinking about trying our hand at cooking in a Dutch Oven. You've got me motivated to go out and find one now. The food looks awesome.
