Stuff it!

(Pretty self explanatory and requires no further instruction.)

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

What happened to all the special rules?

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 12/27 through Sunday 1/5.

Entry pictures must be submitted by 6 a.m. Central US Time on Monday morning 1/6

Click here to READ THE RULES for the BBQ Brethren Throwdown...

The ENTRY and VOTE threads will follow Q-Talk rules, meaning QUALITY ON-TOPIC discussion of the category or entries only, please. Discussion is encouraged to take place in the DISCUSSION THREAD, but if you want a recipe, or are looking for details or have QUALITY ON-TOPIC comments to make about an entry or the category you can make them in the ENTRY or VOTE thread. Non-quality posts that are made here will be deleted and the offending member will be asked why they couldn't just post in the DISCUSSION thread instead, and in extreme cases or repeat offenders, disciplinary action WILL happen.

Best of luck and even better eats to all!

The following is my official entry for the stuff it throwdown. There are several food traditions associated with New Years Eve. I decided to cover a couple of the bases and enter the throwdown as well.

Many folks eat pork and cabbage so I decided to try my hand at cabbage rolls and made some pulled pork cabbage rolls. The filling is pretty simple, just pulled pork, rice, onion, salt and pepper. I made the sauce using tomato puree and diced tomatoes with salt, pepper, basil and garlic.

In the south, you have to have some black eyed peas so to go with my cabbage rolls, I made a black eyed pea salad with tomato, red onion, red bell pepper, celery, jalapeno and roasted red pepper Italian dressing.

The flavor of the cabbage rolls was good but you could tell it was my first time trying to roll cabbage. :) Here is a pic of the finished product. Please use for my entry.

Mike, with our monthly special TD's you can enter multiple times, and each of those entries will be included in the poll.

With this and all other weekly throwdowns, while you can enter multiple times, however, only one entry will be included in the poll, so be sure to let us know which one you want us to use. :thumb:

Thanks!

I did not see in the rules that you could not submit multiple entries so please accept this as an entry for the Stuff It throwdown.

Here is the cook thread

Some good looking entries here! I'm happy to see that since I chose the theme. :becky:

And here is mine. Please accept this as my official entry for this throw down. That's a pork tenderloin stuffed with wild rice, mushrooms and dried cherries.
