Help Me Design an Outdoor Kitchen
What should be in it?
I have a large corner area where I am going to build a wood burning pizza oven. I plan on a heavy duty build with cinder blocks (possibly to match the exsisting wall ~ your thoughts?). It is already plumbed with water, gas and electrical. I plan on putting a gas grill in it. Not sure about a sink or fridge. Possibly a built in ice chest. Work/counter space and a place to put a smoker (UDS for now). Obviously storage underneath. What else? |

If it were me I'd definitely add a gas range top to the mix, and possibly a small fridge underneath somewhere. Nice to have options!

Those mini fridges dont hold much, nor do they stay very cold. Seems like a waste of space, when the house kitchen is right there. A large ice chest seems ideal for parties.

Leave enough room for lots of counter/work space.

I have a drop in ice chest and a fridge. They both are great for parties.
The ice maker I added on the other hand is a year round hit. Best money I spent. Get a u-line that is actually a freezer and you will be loving life. That's if you like cocktails as much as I do. Holds 25 pounds and I use it all the time.
