Default 2013 Frostbuster BBQ (Calling Midwest Teams)

The 2013 Frostbuster BBQ is excepting teams for this years' event.

Go to the Website for more information and sign up. Hope to see you there.

http://frostbusterbbq.blogspot.com/

You often wonder why you received those scores at a bbq contest or do you want to get started competing in KCBS style BBQ contests? Maybe you just want to try a new presentation or flavor before the season starts or perhaps you want to Judge some great BBQ or you just want to come have fun. Whatever your reason, this is your time to bust those judging questions you may have or tune up on your cooking and judging skills. This is a great learning experience for Cooks as well as Judges.

I'm there! This one makes four for four .

This is a great way for cooks & judges to get to know each other, a way for judges to actually see where their scores stand against other judges. The judges give their scores to the team face to face, eyeball to eyeball - and the cooks can ask the judges any questions that they want.

This is probably one of the best ideas that I have ever heard of for competition BBQ and I'm proud to be a (small) part of it. Thanx to Smokehouse 72 for doing this.

Not that I plan to attend, even though seems like a nice concept, but where is the date listed? Maybe I'm overlooking the obvious, but the only date that I see listed is March 1, 2011.

The part I like best is when you tell the cook his food sucks and he jumps over the table and socks you right in the eye, OOOH what fun!!!!
It's on my calender already.

Dave, thanks for the kind words on the Frostbuster. Glad to have you there again this year.

We have had a great response from Brethren this year donating items/rubs/sauce samples for the team gift bag. Way to go!
Not to forget the local sponsors that have stepped up to take care of Frostbuster T-shirts for everybody from Teams, helpers, and even the judges.
Anybody else that might want to send some items or samples of their product, just send me a PM.
