Mmmm... Dump Cake. I don't melt the butter, just slice it up and put it on top.

Try cherry pie filling & devils food cake. Yum!

Yep, just dump everything into a pan. Grease bottom of pan with butter, Pam, etc. Dump in fillings of choice, dump in the cake mix on top, top with butter. No stirring allowed. Throw in oven.

Although I'll occasionally, take a knife or spoon and give it a very slight zig zag through the mix.

That's easy! Dump cake. Grew up eating it, and still make it time to time. Pie filling in the bottom, dump cake mix, we always thin slice butter on top, then bake.
My bro in law, misunderstood the directions, and made cake batter, to pour over pie filling. Tasted good too

Any dump cake is good. My absolute favorite is ade in a Dutch oven and finished in an open fire. Of course it needs to be a cold night and a really hot cup of coffee.

I was just going to say “Diabetic Coma in a Pan” but “Dump Cake” sounds better.
