Yeah we do those all the time in the Dutch oven when camping. Great deserts and easy to do.

I found a recipe somewhere that I liked...
1 box of white cake mix
1 bag of frozen fruit.. I used peaches
1 can of Sprite ( I used diet sprite)

pour fruit in a pan , it can be thawed
pour dry cake mix evenly on the fruit
pour Sprite slowly and evenly over everything

if you want to stir it, you can , the cake will be more fluffy if you do, other wise it can be crusty in spots, which I like
