Default Kudo's to Tel-Tru

I recently had a fogging problem with a $40 Tel-Tru Thermometer that I had installed on my stick burner. I emailed Tel-Tru about it and they asked me to send it to them so they could check out the unit....somehow the seal was not holding up properly, and water had gotten inside. They wanted the unit returned to do some testing.

A week after I sent my Thermometer in, they sent a replacement. Good to go.

Tel-Tru then emailed me apologizing for the issue and asked me if there was anything else they could do for me. I said, as a matter of fact there is. I've only owned my BGE for a couple of months and I'm having the same fogging issue. Should I deal BGE for a replacement Thermometer or did Tel-Tru want to deal with it. She asked me to take a pic of the Thermometer and email it to her. Today, I received my BGE replacement Thermometer.

Kudo's to Tel-Tru. They stand by their products.

It is always nice to hear from companies who stand by their product. Posts like tell people what is worth buying and what is not. Thanks for the heads up.

Agreed. And since most of us will be buying thermometers eventually, it's nice to buy with confidence from Tel-Tru.
