Default I have been holding out!17 years......

Went to the basement to get something for Mothers Day and something caught my eye! When I brought it up and asked Mrs. Ash she said oh we won that at a company Christmas party 17 years ago. Will will be married 20 the 18th of this month. This is way before I got involved in the thin blue. We have moved twice since then and I moved it every time and never remembered we had it... Please forgive me! Grace which born on date is just a little older and is giving me carp about it telling me I told you so..... So we are now adding Jet Black to the family. Welcome Jet Black!!!!!

Cool discovery, but I would keep it in the box for a Keepsake.

That is pretty cool, but I wasn't going to use it, I'd keep it in the box. Better yet, you could just use it for the super special occasions for you and the misses. It could truely become part of the family.

Nice score!

I bought a smokey joe last week because I'm seriously considering abandoning my gas grill. Most times when I'm grilling, its just for me and my girlfriend and that little grill will do the job. I think it might come in handy for tailgating also :)

I almost pulled out one I picked up on clearance about 5 years ago but, used a cast iron grill I got from CostPlus around the same time. It was easier to get to. The Smokey Joe was out of reach.
