Buttermilk Brined Turkey Breast Pics

I smoked this turkey breast over some cherry and a little hickory wood. The breast was brined for 24 hours in a spicy buttermilk concoction that I made up. The sides were fresh canned green beans and red tater garlic mash taters.

I just wing it but if I had to guess the amounts it would be;

I put the turkey breast in a ziplock bag
cover with buttermilk around 3 to 4 cups buttermilk
around 2 table spoons of kosher salt
1/2 head of fresh roasted garlic
1/4 cup hot sause
fresh cracked pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper
and a hand full of chopped fresh herbs of your choice

let rest in fridge over night
