This place looked pretty good

Guy running 5 barrels out back.

Any you SoCal'ers been here?

Big BBQ Burger
867 W. Sunset Blvd. (off Cesar E Chavez Ave)
Los Angeles, CA

It says Burger, but they had sheet loads of ribs, chicken, links, etc on the smoker along with 1# Texas burgers

The guy reminded me of you Mista.

(the fact that he was African American gentlemen is not what I am talking bout)

The guy longed to go back to Texas, misses it much (that's you) but then thought he likes to bring a touch of Texas to California (you again).

It was Rob Flay FoodNation, think it was episode "Big BBQ"

I have driven by the place many times, right on the corner of Sunset and Figueroa. I was always on my way to my mom's usually for dinner so I never stopped. I will be in town this weekend and may have to take a trip over there.

Didn't the guy say that the drippings from all the other meat helped to flavor that big arse hamburger patty?
