A "decent" brisket price

Thats a boat load of good lookin meat.

Nice job.

I have to check wally worlds meat prices.

Almost forgot

Look at these tears of goodness ;-)). Probably the lightest rub and flavor spot on kosher salt, cracked black pepper and a dusting Plowboys Yardbird- mainly for color. But sometimes less IS more

They are $2.98 in Minnesota as well. Happened to look at one in Hy-Vee and they had an 11 and change one for $5.99/lb - almost $70 !

I saw walmart for 2.97 here in Iowa. I got USDA choice NY strip by the whole loin at 5.99 at Fareway :clap2: (on sale at that price every couple of months for the last couple of years). Given the trimming waste for brisket that is more expensive for wally world select brisket than Fareway choice NY strip. Choice brisket was over $5!!

At these prices, my family eats brisket only 2-3X per year. If they get cheaper I'd buy them more often.

Proud

Kind of proud of this select 11# packer (we like the flat soft and chopped)

Looks damn good my friend :hungry:

Just paid $3.89/lb here for a 17.5 lb for the Former POW picnic tomorrow.
no price is too much for good stuff for these guys :thumb:

Here in Amarillo, flats are easy to find, finding just the point would be more fun IMHO !!

Flats last week were over $6 a pound at Cosco's just getting outragous!
