done! thanks. can you make a feature so it will undo something i do wrong, like using the wrong seasoning or sauce or to much or not enough smoke etc? hey, i just thought of something, how about turning the phone into a temp probe or temp scanner. a probe could be plugged into the round port thingy on the phone and then read the temp.
and when not using it for cooks it could double as a rectal thermometer. but with murphys law and all, i'll probably get a call just as i'm using it and then that old saying "i'm talking out of my *#@." will come true.

Just an FYI. Released v3.0 which contains Stoker WiFi support and also allows the ability to enter temps manually for those without a wifi temp controller. Right now it allows you to chart the temps after entered, but future releases will contain more functionality built on top of this temp data.
Some other bells and whistles were also added but the 2 main things we were really happy to get out the door were the Stoker integration and manual entry ability. Have a good weekend Brethren.

Re: BBQ Android App Just Released
Awesome good job. Until I purchase either the Stoker or Guru I will love the manual entry. That was the only thing I was tracking independent of the app then I would merge the info from your report and my tracking sheet to store the complete cook.

Unfortunately our iOS developer had to switch priorities so it has been delayed. Not sure on a specific ETA at this point but will keep people posted.

Great app. Used it once so far with my Stoker.
Couple of feature requests: 1) ability to have 2 pits 2) ability to export the data behind the graph. 3) landscape for use on tablets. Thanks, Brent |

I just downloaded the free version for my droid. Without going through 10 pages, what are the differences between the free and paid version?

It supports exporting in: -XML for backups (future restore functionality will come later) -Plain Text Format -Microsoft Word and Open Office (Rich Text Format) -Excel and other spreadsheet support (CSV Format) Exports can be saved to either your phones internal SD or sent direct via email. Just an FYI for the Brethren, we are trying to get out of the red a bit and cover some of our costs so had to put some limitations on this new export functionality which you might see if using the free version. Just some cut and paste from my phone on some features in the pro version. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent BlueTapatalk 2

Sounds good. If I like and use the free version, I will certainly get the Pro version. I know app development is not cheap. Just went through it myself with my company and it was an investment.
