Please give your findings after a couple of cooks, I'm interested to hear your opinions. Might buy one.

Same. I will be cooking a brisket tomorrow and see how it does. I will have it outside in a ziplock bag and see how well it work through a couple walls. I'll post findings when I am done.

One of the reps at the store ask me to let him know how it works. He was thinking about buying one, but the $80 price tag put him off. He didn't realize they were on sale.

I've already synced mine with my phone to make sure it works. I'm a little geeked out about trying this now.

Unfortunately not available for the Nexus. So for Android owners check compatibilty before you pull the trigger on a purchase! I have the Nexus as well as an iPhone so I could still use it....
Yeah, my Galaxy Nexus is compatible, burn not my Nexus 7. I would only assu,e it is only a matter of time. Still debating one. I do need a new thermometer. And hopefully they work on the app more. It would appear some of the reviews are saying it is just a crappy port from iPhone and just does some basics. I'll have to read a little more before making my decision I guess.

I've just been winging my cooks for the past 4 months anyway. Getting pretty good at it. Hahaha.

If I do end up with one, I will most definitely give a report on the Android app and thermo itself.

I have one on order, but the AT&T one is $20 less and the one I ordered is back ordered.

So I'm going to cancell the other order and go to AT&T and get one.

I have used mine three times for cooks. Have the pit probe as well. Both seem to work well and temps accurate compared to thermapen. Love the Ipad app, and bluetooth range pretty good not great. Not having to wonder whats going on while lying on the couch is priceless as my man cave is upstairs. You can also see what others are cooking near you and post pics right from the app which is a neat feature.

Now if Stoker can get come up with an app as smooth as iGrill's, my Gadget obsession will be complete..... for now.

I like mine, I feel like it could be made a bit more durable. It is made of all cheap plastic and my stand broke off very easily. However, I do love the functionality once it is connected. It can be a pain, though, at times getting it all reconnected if I haven't used it for a while.
