I am in the process of trying to decide what kind of cooker to get.
I have narrowed my choices down to the Backwoods (Piglet Plus)
and the Ole Hickory (Convecture Tri Oven).
I am looking for a unit that will produce the best tasting product.
Cooker will be used for vending special events,
Your input is appreciated.

What are you looking to cook in it? The Backwoods Piglet Plus is a little big for backyard Q (unless you have a really big family or a lot of friends). I love my Backwoods Party but my preference is using her for chicken and ribs. She has won me a few trophies over the years.

I don't know what you need to vend in your state but the Ole Hickory should give you less problems with the Health Dept because it's NSF approved but me personally I prefer the Backwoods. I'll take wood and charcoal over gas and electricity any day. Just my .02
