Default ABT's, Jap Shrimp Boats and Chix

Last nights dinner was a joint effort. I played with fire outside and my #1 fan made a salad inside.
My part was BBQ chicken thighs and some ABT's for appetizers. I stuffed the ABTs with my own concoction of salad shrimp, cream cheese, lemon juice, wooster, and Dizzy Pig "Shakin' the Tree"
Since I had too many japs for the rack I made shrimp (filled) boats.

Then some bacon on top and into the drum

While they were cooking I dusted the thighs with DP "Shakin' the Tree"
and on to the gasser over low indirect heat. Flipped 'em and sauced 'em after 30 min.

and my part is done!

Thanks for checking out our dinner.

BTW No leftovers....

Looks great and now I have new ideas to try on some friends. My neighbors love it when they get to sample new treats.

That looks awesome! I'm needing to cook some ABT's for my grandma's 85th b-day on the 11th. This gives me another ABT flavor to do
