Default Minion Method . Brisket PRON butt PRON to come.

I'm doing a 15 hour smoke and I have a smaller coffee can and as much charcoal as I'm using (15# bag of Stubb's) my little can has to have a few unlit briquet's in it so I can pull it out after I toss in the lit ones this should be ok to do I should still get a long burn right?

EDIT Well here is the start of the Pron I've got to use my phone but I do have macro mode on it so will see...

14# Choice Brisket 1.88 a lb at my local HEB

Head shot after 2 hours

I would think so. I assume you mean you are using a small can for the hole in the middle of the unlit coals.

that will work. put the lit coals in the can and then remove the can. you'll be golden for your entire cook. Make sure to catch the temp on the way up.

I use a chimney and dump them right on top, that's what works for me. You should be ok.

Default The PRON

Ok been busy but heres what I smoked this Monday

I really think my temp gage is off by like 30 degrees cause this took so freakn long to cook, so I added a grate thermo and it said it was at 200 so I gotta buy another cheap turkey thermo shucks

This was the best brisket I've ever done I didn't go on temp, when it felt like butter all over I pulled it let it rest 20 min just on the stove and wrapped it for a hour.

And this is how I felt after all of it thx for looking
