Prepare for cooler weather... for the first weekend in May.

Weather looks like a mix bag.... partly cloudy with a chance of showers.
Cooler than normal - highs in the mid 60's and low's in the 40's.

Grab the winter gear for overnight tenders...

For the meat that we're getting locally, we're going to have it delivered whenever we need it instead of needing to have it in coolers all day. What time do we need it on site to get everything ready for an 8 am Sunday finish?

A major RFP with a short deadline may throw a monkey wrench in my plans to get there.
Pretty sure I won't be taking Thursday off as planned.
Keep me in your prayers. Or your fingers crossed. Whichever works for you.

My boss is being helpful, and I'll work on it tonight.
That gives me Wed and Thu to get things submitted that need to be submitted.

There's been some discussion about how much to put on sandwiches... We'll be doing 4-5 ounce sandwiches, instead of skimpy 3 ounce sandwiches. I had an issue with this last year, and this year I'm being adamant about it. This whole event is about showing God's abundance for us. Cooks that are more than expected, sandwiches bigger than expected, not just 'here's a sandwich'.

In the mad rush to clean out the freezer that died in the flooding (just enough water to kill the compressor) I seem to remember having a bunch of rib tips.

Anyone interested if I can find them?
