Basic Poultry Rub
1 tablespoon turbinado sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons paprika 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder 3/4 teaspoon celery salt 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander Also you might consider brining the chicken for outstanding results... |

Believe it or not Fiesta brand spices puts out a pretty good chicken rub! I don't know if that brand is available in your area though so how about Plowboy's Yardrub?

Chicken quarters are so darned good you don't have to add much. Pepper, Lawry's Seasoned Salt and let it rip.

I either use Sea Salt, Pepper & Onion powder, or YARD BIRD.
It doesn't take much to taste amazing. |
