Default Where do you find a drum? let's work together...

Ok so here we go.... Because I keep seeing so many posts asking if anyone knows where to find a barrell in state X I am going to do a little researcha nd find as many places as I can for each state and post the link to the website of the places that I would look to find a barrel through. If you have a known source and wish to let it be known post it here and we will put a list of places together.

Mods I hope this is ok to put here. It's for building a smoker which is smoking equipment.

now I only put about 5 minutes in this as of 05-27 so I'm sure we can fill it in a bit more fairly quickly.

What is the criteria required for the barrel?

I personally think the burn out will make most any barrel suitable to cook in, but I know a lot of folks feel the barrel should have been food grade only, and still others think it also should be unlined.

In Atlanta | Chicago | Cleveland | Los Angeles | New Jersey get it new and ready to go from McMaster-Carr pick your size and gauge, available without a liner around $100 http://www.mcmaster.com/#55-gallon-drums/=7a3e3i

Stainless slightly higher.

I have barrels in Northern Calif

They came from Pacific Coast Producers---a ocal cannery. I hauled a load to our "Octoberfest" gathering last year and had no takers. I still got 'em
