Bride's blue cheese burgers tonight
I surprised my bride with her beloved blue cheese stuffed in some burgers. Two bites into hers she was giddy. Honestly, I'm typically NOT a blue cheese fan........but.......I sure as heck wanted seconds.
Real thin patties with some of the "rancid" goodness layered in between two of them. Hit 'em with Montreal rub. Hot grill....as evidenced once I lifted the lid for the final time and removed them. The fat had been collecting on the coals an the rush of air from opening created fun havoc. Wife's was fairly well loaded along with some waffle fries that didn't make it in the pick. Mine as nekkid.....with two slices of cheese.....protein and fat rich....but not too bad, overall. Sure was tasty. She liked it and appreciated me trying her blue cheese. I even got a whistle while I was out checking my grill's new home that's under construction.

Looks great! I have been thinking about cooking a blue cheese burger. You just moved the cook to the top of my list.

One of my favorites!
Next time, try it with Limburger cheese and onions.

We had steak a few weeks ago, and my wife made a bleu (pardon moi) cheese "dip" ("sauce"?) - not sure exactly what it was - to go with it. Anyway, it was stinkin' delicious.
It is an acquired taste. But, I guess after eating bleu cheese dressing on wings for years - I have acquired it!
