when I bought my CS-570 wanted the hopper extender but the dealer didn't have any, ordered one but wouldn't come for a couple weeks, needed one for the cook that night, 3 pork butts, when I got it home got some scrap lumber I had sitting around and made my own, it worked.








might not be the best option, but didn't run out of pellets, could hold a full 20lb bag.

How big of a generator do you need to run one of these at a contest, or maybe a better question is what type of wattage is required to run these cookers?

I bought one but I love the wooden hopper mod!

220, 221 whatever it takes ....


I believe its 5 amps
