anyone have any experience with the pocket IR thermometer?

There are at least a couple things within arms reach that I will not recommend checking the temperature of, no matter how fast your thermo is.

the wifey also got the thermoworks ear thermometer which should come in handy with my 2 year old and the one that's coming out of oven in march.
