From looking at the schedule, I see 18 KCBS sanctioned Missouri State Championship contests.
18. 18! So....how is the Real State Champion determined?

Maybe they do it as a series (like the FBA team of the year) and the highest scoring team at the end of the season wins!! :D
It is amazing how many "official state championships" are held in each state each year - it kind of makes sense with multiple associations - but if all 18 are KCBS then somebody needs to 'splain what they mean. :D

In MO the state championships that have 25 or more teams at the competition that winner's name goes into a draw and one team is drawn. Many states have more than one championship and it is handled the same way.
