Ello all. I am wondering how many trimmed racks of spares i would need to cook for 20 people. each person gets 2 ribs. thanks

Do 3 racks. You will have ends that will dry out and won't be able to use them.

I've heard 3.50 a pound is the norm around here, 3.25-3.5lbs per slab. I'd guess 3 slabs would be $40 with tax. I buy mine a different route, so my numbers may be off.

$1.99 a pound at Sam's.

you can get pre-trimmed St. Louis Cut at Costco for about 2.35 a pound
