Julia Child used to say that "pork likes apples," meaning apples and pork go together. I started fermenting cider from a local orchard. That stuff is unbelievably awesome with anything pork.

Nice hoppy IPAs are great with bbq sauce. Porters and bocks are nice with beef, and nice mild pilsners/wheats are good with chicken.

Free and Cold is always welcome especially if it is from someone who has good taste in beer.

being a young buck i have not really started to pair different beers with different meats just yet but I do like something that is mild yet flavorful when eating cue so i can taste the smoke, rub, and meat clearly.
