Default Kicking off the weekend with a beautiful butt

I've been waiting anxiously to smoke this butt since Monday. I got it going at 250 with some apple wood. I cant wait to taste it.

Is that one of those Kingsford grill grate thermometers? Any idea how accurate they are? It would be nice to have for my kettle.

No Its not a kingsford. Its a grill thermometer I picked up from my local grocery store. Its really accurate. It may be one or two degrees off from my digital thermometer.

That's a beautiful looking butt.

FYI, those surface thermos are made by several companies, but maverick has a nice one that I've been using for a while. I paid $5 for it at fry's.
