Default Free Scheduling/Timer Software for BBQ Competitions

pitmasterIQ.com is offering a free program to eliminate your whiteboard schedules. This program will keep track of any number of events for up to six cook schedules. It features recipe entry and management also. Configurable alarms wake you when it's time to foil! NOTE: this is a new program, has only limited email support (it's free after all), and should be used in parallel with your present scheduling system until you gain confidence with it - we don't want to screw up anybody's scores! See us in Mason City, IA 7/22-23 for a demo! Go to http://pitmasteriq.com/Free-Stuff.html to download the program.

Thanks...I am willing to give it a spin. Not sure how I feel about having a computer running during a competition. Also not sure it will replace my whiteboard as that is what all my team members use to see our full schedule at a glance. But I am willing to try it.

I downloaded the file but the file is in Java (. jnlp) format and I am at work and I don't have permissions to download programs. I'll definitely get more involved with it as soon as I get home. It would be nice if you could translate it into a file format that Windows or Mac OS could open without having to download other java apps to be able to read it. Thanks for the post and I will definitely take a harder look at it ASAP.
