Default Infrared Thermometer At Lowes $9.98

Hope this isn't a repost, but Lowes has Infrared Thermometers for $9.98. Ordered two online and picked them up this morning. Some are reporting that they are showing up in their area for $19.98. Might be of interest to check the grate temp.

No need to apologize. It's a deal so nice it deserves to be posted twice.

I stopped by a Lowes close to my home that had them listed for $19.98 online and they matched the lower online price. It's not a bad unit for $10.00.

Picking one up tomorrow, looking around I saw this...

This might be interesting for checking how moist your smoking wood is. :)

I bought one of of Amazon some time ago for ~$45. Goes up to ~1000°F, which works well for my pizza oven. The Lowes one doesn't work for me since it only goes up to 600°F. $10 is an awesome deal though.

Take my advice...
When showing it off don't point it at wife and say "Your a$$ is HOT!" I had 3, one for each house and spare for Christmas gift. Now I have 2 and some spare parts.

This thermometer seems to be pretty inconsistent in its readings.

Is this one any good?:

You should have no problem getting a credit for the difference. Even if you don't have the receipt they can look it up if you used a credit card.
