M burning the liner as we speak and am wondering I should add more wood?
I have firewood on the side of my shed. Does it matter what I use?
Thanks. Its been going for an hour so when I should I stop?

I did 2 burns in my drum. 1st burn then brushed it out and then I did a second just to get the rest of the inside burnt to bare metal.

It looks like a red lined barrel. I dont think the burn will be enough. A wire wheel or angled grinder will probably be necessary to get to bare metal. Good luck.

I just removed one of these liners. Did a burn with pallet wood + fire wood and let it burn a few hours. Needed hours with a grinding wheel on my drill and then did a second burn just to be safe. Good luck...I was glad when I was done.

Burnin' my drum

I'm about to light up my drum in a little bit. Gonna go cut me up some pallets to burn in it and I got me a pile of fire wood too. Might go down the street, there's a construction site and I can probably get me a good load of scrap from down there. With permission of course.

Heat rises. Turn the barrel on its side. You'll get better results from the burn. Still probably will need to wire brush with an angle grinder.
