just burn it out well. I used fire wood in mine, get to bare steel you will be fine.

Also be careful with the lid it can warp quick.

I just removed one of these liners. Did a burn with pallet wood + fire wood and let it burn a few hours. Needed hours with a grinding wheel on my drill and then did a second burn just to be safe. Good luck...I was glad when I was done.

Burnin' my drum
I'm about to light up my drum in a little bit. Gonna go cut me up some pallets to burn in it and I got me a pile of fire wood too. Might go down the street, there's a construction site and I can probably get me a good load of scrap from down there. With permission of course.
