I had to Google him as the kids say. I would not disagree with him while he is brandishing what appears to be his weapon of choice.

About 50/50 depending on the weather. When it's single digits or less outside, the grilling wins.

I probably grill more often. But spend more hours smoking. Not sure how to put a percentage to that so I will say 50/50. Usually smoking is larger cuts of meat and it's just me and the wife usually. Otherwise it wouldn't be close, mostly smoking.

I grill a dinner meat (chicken breasts, lean pork, fish, or occasionally lean beef) every night on my BGE. I get my Stumps smoker out about every three weeks and do a two day multiple meat (usually 2 packer briskets, 12 racks of ribs, and 4 whole pork butts) massive smoke session to feed family, local friends, and employees.
Not smoking too often keeps it a special treat for those on the receiving end.

I would say 80% smoke and 20% grill.
And like another said 110% beer. I usually don’t fire up the grill without a beer/coozie in hand. It just doesn’t seem right

75 grill 25 smoke. Only because of time constraints and the darn work gig that keeps getting in the way. Hope to reverse it soon.

95% smoking. If it’s something I can grill then it’s something I can use a griddle for.

So, I don't own an electric or gas grill. Only charcoal smoker, grill, and pellet grill. Since I cook with smoke all of the time, I BBQ 100%

Now that’s something a Northerner will say. Barbecue is low and slow. No other way around it. Maybe Adam needs to know the difference, celebrity status or not.
