How was the contest itself? We considered doing it but had some questions and were not impressed with the communication.So we did another contest. Was it very well organized and was there any issues for me to consider for next year? Thanks in advance

Freddy, I thought it was very well ran. Had plenty of power, a water source, ash and greese barrels and free tickets to the fair, and the figure 8 races Friday night. Oh, and breakfast in the morning. It says no alcohol but we just had to keep it in a coozie. And they would even give you a couple of those.
Hope you can make it next year.

My Grandkids live in CB and one of my Granddaughters 5th Birthday was Friday so we had emailed and called several times to find out how hard it would be to get in and out of Westfair. We finally decided it was just easier to do Mason City this year instead and I would ask everyone that did this contest their thoughts so I can decide for next year. My son lives right next to No Frills and the Mall so it would have may been easy if I needed anything.
 
Forgot how much fun the figure 8 races were last year!
 
Congrats again Matt!! That's the 2nd time I've seen you take the GC walk this year (1st was @ the Honky Tonk). I have to say I was pretty impressed with the boxes presented to our table. It was nice to meet some of the other Brethren as well, and to see how well they did!! Cheers!!!

I make a large portion of mine but the few I buy I order through the Kansas City BBQ store or Hawgeyes! Sorry I couldn't help.
