Surprise, Surprise...I cooked more chicken thighs (Bit Butz Chicken Dust)
Picked up some Big Butz Chicken Dust from Green Leaf yesterday, so I decided to try it on some thighs today.
Coated liberally with the Dust, put in the fridge to relax for an hour of so. Nothing like oak burning in the pit. Once they start to render out enough, give them a flip. Notice the green herbs still visible, they don't burn when you cook at a lower heat. Alcohol free January, decided to have a Hansen's Root Beer. When the skin gets nice and crispy, flip them back over to finish them off. Cody wanted some too I really enjoyed this rub, it had a nice depth of flavor. There are far more herbs in this one than I am used to using, so it was a nice change of pace. If you haven't tried and of the rubs Big Butz offers, now might be a good time to do so
