Default Mac n cheese for 300?

Anybody have an idea how much I'm gonna need to serve along with slaw, tater salad, baked beans, and pulled pork sammies? I am considering using the same figure as the tater salad and going with 1/2 cup finished product per person but wanted to ask the pros first. Any good mac n cheese catering recipes out there? Is it possible to cook the macaroni a day ahead, refridgerate it, then mix with a cheese sauce and bake the day of the party?

You can pre cook the macaroni, just make sure you oil it before you store it so it does not stick to itself. 300 people with that many items. I would say four pans would do the trick.

Talk to JBrink01. He has a good Mac N Cheese that scales easily.

Hey,
I'd do 6 full size deep's. We assume 50 servings per pan on starches and vegetables and it works, if you only have 1 starch at the meal. If you have multiple sides in either food group, figure about 70 per full size deep. Like Plowboy said, hit me with a PM if you want a recipe.

Ps - If your using canned vegetable or beans, we use 2.5 #10's per full size deep.
