Curious as to the diameter. Trying to do a little rersearch and pick something up for cold smoking. I dont know if the tube is the way to go or some sort of tray. THanks

somebody shut me the fark up.
I believe from what I saw it is about 2".....
I use the A-Maze-N Pellet Smoker (tray) as I can use it in any of my cookers, or even a cardboard box if I had to.
Some one made one out of expanded metal awhile back at a fraction of the cost.

The 12" model is 2" OD, closer to 2-1/16" OD on the ends.

Buy this. It works like a champ. I use mine with pellets and use a propane torch to get it started. You will want to start a fire with the top pellets and then smother it with a wet rag.

I just took a splatter screen from the dollar store and cut the hoop off. Rolled it into a tube shape and put hose clamps on both ends to hold its shape
