Default Gunbunny signing in!

Hello from Iowa! Somewhat new to smoking (10 months). My parents gave me an ECB they picked up from someone who was giving it away. After fighting the darn thing to maintain a decent temp unmodified. I lurked quite a bit on various BBQ forums and the YouTubes on how to modify and tweak my ECB @ my co-workers recommendation. I think I've modified about every aspect of it now and am actually able to control airflow and maintain a temp! The search for more knowledge and great recipes drove me here. Hopefully I can actively contribute and learn quite a few things. Somewhat new to home brewing too only have about 18 brews under my belt all extract/partial mash. Nothing like doing both on the weekend to kick it off right. Smoking 58 lbs of Boston Butt this weekend for an in-laws graduation party. Wish me luck this is gonna be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too on a little ECB.

In the end it will be okay.
And if it's not okay, it's not the end.
