Found some cooked, sliced and vac sealed brisket in freezer. Just over a year old . Think it's still good?

It's still fine. As long as it still has it's vacuum it's fine. Worse case scenario the quality of taste will suffer. Safety wise it's fine unless you've has a prolonged power outage.

Unless the bag has leaked and it's all frosty. Should be as good as when it went in

The more folks you send it to, the better the experiment...

I mean, if you just send it to oldbill and he lives, it may just be that he has a cast iron stomach.

I'll volunteer as well, despite still not being right digestively after a trip to Mexico City 2 weeks ago...

Nothing to add. I just want to know if "Digestively" is a real word?

He really meant to say "mentally" and Mexico had nothing to do with it.

Don't listen to them though, it's a bio hazard! I'm a certified hazmat specialist. Well, I'm certified, anyway.

I was there for work meetings. When I travel to places with suspect water quality (and I have been in some really suspect locales) and cooking practices, I stick with cooked foods, no raw veggies, etc. It has served me pretty well, but I think I got too brave with the fresh salsas this go-round.

Had a couple days of "gotta run, I got ass faucet". Stomach is mostly back to normal, but not quite 100% yet. Been taking probiotics daily for the last week or so.

Sorry OP for "crapping" up your thread
