Did I get a good deal?
Went to RD a couple dazes ago to buy supplies for and upcoming and cook. ow and behold RD had case price whole packers at 1.88lb. My wifyee wont be happy wid da bill I think.....

i think i saw them at walmart the other day for 2.80lb up here. i think i read that somebody said they paid about $4.00lb (?) in IA the other day. sounds like a pretty good price to me from what i have seen and heard. beef is pretty high right now.

I just paid $2.61 for a packer, so that seems like a good case deal.

That's about the current price here in Dallas at Sam's for a Select packer. Albertson's was $2.50/lb for a choice packer last week. I didn't check anywhere else.
