Attempted my 1st brisket smoked w/ Jack Daniels and Hickory Chips. During the smoking, I tossed in apple slices, garlic cloves and an Old Bay Blooming Onion.
This is why I like this web site. I get to show off my cooking and learn too. Thanks for the advise about the cutting. I even said while eating that it was not as tender as I would have liked. Now I know why!! This is also why I want to take some classes on smoking and butchering.
