Charbroil CB 600 smoker

Just got a new smoker and was wondering what is the key to get the thing
,up to temp.Its 50going degrees outside and it wont break 150 in the last 3change:mad2: hours.

No its a vertical propane smoker

Are you just going by the gauge on the smoker? One would hope that it isn't bad but in my old vertical propane smoker I could get it rock'n turning it to high

Check your propane connections. Last Sunday I couldn't get mine to break 200*. Turned out that the propane nozzle became dislodged. Once I fixed it, it worked like a charm.

First off - turn the tank all the way off, same with the smoker. Then s l o w l y open the tank valve all the way. You should be good to go - they put a "child safety" feature on the new tanks without telling any one :evil:.

Hozman, i put 2 oven thermometers in the cook chamber and they read the same.I will check the gas connections Rookie48 and Pig Daddy and let you know.Thank's.
