Does any one know just where the City Park is located in Pacific? It looks like Pacific is spread out a bit and it would be easier to know a head of time instead of searching when I get there.

Directions from Tom,
The location is City Park of Pacific, and it's on West Congress St:
Take I-44 to the Pacific Exit
Turn left to go under I-44.
At the first light, turn Left.
Continue for about 1/4 mile, and then turn right second stop light.
Continue for about 1/2 mile, where you will see Railroad Tracks and a
stop sign. Turn Left.
About a 1/4 down you wil see City Park and a swimming pool on your
right. The contest is behind the swimming pool.
I'll be there. Look forward to saying hi to all.

help an newby next to me he was in an hell of an place
his two year old son was in the hospital getting cat scans and MRI
they could not find out what was going on he was up praying all night
and in the morning they found an hurinia and sunday morning they were going to do the emergncy surgury
i could not sleep so me and him was up all night talking about life and our kids
it was an good time to reflect on our life man o man do we have it good to
go and do an contest and see our friends and help an new guy getting started
had an great weekend
his name is brian and ownes steel's bbq
he was cooking on the same smoker i started out with
it brought back memory
he came in 19 over all first cook not bad with all the pressher he was under
i told him about this web page and he was going to check it out when
his life got back to normal

Congrats to all those that walked. We were supposed to be there but had to cancel as I got called out of town last minute for work. Sounds like it was a good time. Looks like the weather was a little nicer than last year!

I just don't get columbia but from everyone that went to the royal
(that judged at the royal) :eusa_clap
if you can win in columbia you will be in the top 20 at the royal
( and i do belive this )
so i guess i will cook in columbia two more times this year and see where i
stand

Team Q, Great Grills, and the Bellys are headed to the Royal the weekend of Roots and Blues....it really sux the date they decided on.....all three teams are avid supporters of our local contests and our bbq community.......so come on down and take the money that weekend! Best of luck to you!
