Ron_L mentioned this to me recently and reminded me it was my turn to organize a group get together. :wink:
Last year's meat up at Uncle Bub's was attented by quite a few and will be extremely hard to top Ron's well planned get together.
We've primarily done lunches for these things, like 11am-2pm or so, but afternoon/evening is not out of the question.
Here's last years announcement which echos here again:
So we normally get this done in January. I see Scottie is attending the San Diego KCBS banquet on the weekend of January 13, probably some others as well.
So can we get some input on peoples availability for Jan 21/22, or Jan 28/29?
Just gathering dates at this point, with time and place to follow.
Previous places where some meat ups and lunches have occurred were Uncle Bub's (2x) - Westmont, Dave & Busters - Schaumburg, Lou Malnati's - Des Plaines?, various smaller lunches around the greater downtown Chicago area.
Anyone have any preferred dates?
