Since the weather is cooling, what better way to warm our bellies than a Soup, Stew, & Chili Throwdown!

CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - READ BEFORE ENTERING

Here's the rules:

  • You must cook a soup, stew, or chili. The soup, stew, or chili can be either cooked in a grill, smoker, or other such device, OR, it must feature the prominent use of grilled and/or smoked ingredients.

  • Standard Throwdown rules apply.

  • Multiple entries are both allowed, and encouraged. :thumb:

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 11/1 through Sunday 12/1.

Entry pictures must be submitted by 6 a.m. Central US Time on Monday morning 12/2.

for the BBQ Brethren Throwdowns...

The ENTRY and VOTE threads will follow Q-Talk rules, meaning QUALITY ON-TOPIC discussion of the category or entries only, please. Discussion is encouraged to take place in the DISCUSSION THREAD, but if you want a recipe, or are looking for details or have QUALITY ON-TOPIC comments to make about an entry or the category you can make them in the ENTRY or VOTE thread. Non-quality posts that are made here will be deleted and the offending member will be asked why they couldn't just post in the DISCUSSION thread instead, and in extreme cases or repeat offenders, disciplinary action WILL happen.

Best of luck and even better eats to all!

A little soup on the Kettle.

Looked like a soup kinda day yesterday;

And I had some of my homemade ham left over, so I rounded up the ingredients for a good ham and bean soup cooked on the Kettle;
Here is my entry shot;

Turned out spectacular! Served with some fresh baked bread sticks and a salad, really did the job.

Thanks for looking,
