Default A New Vending Trailer What would you get?

I am considering getting a BBQ Vending Trailer this Summer
The Trash Biz is very slow (We serve construction contractors mostly)
So a weekend gig to help get the college bills paid maybe in the mix

I know this is like asking which smoker or fat side up er down

What would you be sure to include in a BBQ Vending Trailer?
I have two FEC 100s and a large Bates Texas Style Pit
I am thinking 5th Wheel set up so I can pull the Bates also

I had a great setup with a travel trailer and Stumps on a trailer and just was always afraid I'd wind up trying to muscle that smoker a block or two somewhere to get out of a jam. probably won't come up much anyway as you'll most likely know in advance if your gonna need the fecs & the grill and if just the grill you can just work out of the truck.

I'd get an Extreme BBQ Trailer You've got all the smokers, you just need a kitchen on wheels. You tell me what you want in it Thom and I'll fix you up. Plus Brethren members get a 5% discount.

I would buy a FEC 750 on a dual axle trailer, with plenty more room for everything else, I have just what you are looking for!

If I was you... I would make sure that the FE's are mobile and can be removed from the trailer.. Just in case you need to move them off....

Thom,
I have an FEC500 on mine, with a commercial worktop fridge and 4 hole sink. My set up is a little different than most, as my sinks are worked from the ground and we serve from under an EZ Up out of a Cambro Kiosk. The trailer is for storage primarily. We feel it's better as you get far more customer interaction than vending out of a window. Also eases catering when servicing a line, no in and out of the trailer. We have a Honda EU3000is on it. The FEC500 holds 20 full size disposable steam pans. All in all, about $35,000 in todays dollars.

BTW - All I would do differently IS go 5th wheel and a little bigger. Adding a freezer, warmer and meat slicing station.

Jeff's set up is nice.

Scotty D's rig is nice. He serves either out of a window or off the back deck if it is nice out.
