I have seen grills out of drums just about all my life. They were cut horizontally. This was a first seeing one cut like this...

Doesn't seem like it would work very welll as a smoker, and two grates for grilling that far apaert doesn't look right either.

The dent is optional its an extra $25. Plus that extra flavor liner makes it the DELUX model
