Storage Containers? Which brand?
As I dug out last years storage containers I see I need to replace one of them again. What are you all using for storage containers at contests and travel?
We are tearing up one or two of those cheap Wal-Mart plastic containers every year. I like the idea of them being clear so that you can see what is in them. But I am getting tired of replacing them every year. Right now I am leaning towards http://rubbermaid.com/rubbermaid/product/product.jhtml?prodId=HPProd2943118 They look to be heavier than our last one’s. Any suggestions?

It is hard to beat the Action Packers. I have used these for all my hunting gear for about 5 years and they are still going strong. The black color on the bottom is good as well to hide dirt, grime, grease, etc.

I had the same problem last year... This year I'm getting a couple of kitchen cabinets to mount together and put on wheels and a counter top so I can roll it on and off of the trailer...
I figure we can do the dish washing on top and then put the stuff back where it belongs... I hate having to look through boxes for stuff...

We have a smaller Action Packer that we use for the Stoker gear, and love it, but I just got a new set of clear boxes from Costco and a small cabinet with a black frame and clear drawers from Office Depot for this season. Which is kind of redundant, since everything always goes in the same place (A/C? me?!), but I like the see-through.
We did 17 complete pack/unpacks last year, because after every trip everything gets unloaded and dumped into the garage. The old cheapie clears held up okay, although one finally cracked in one spot at the very end. The newer Costco ones are a bit less flimsy, and have lids with a latch that goes up so the lid doesn't pop off when you lift it.

We got stackable plastic drawers form Ace Hardware. Helps to keek things organized and neat and the Comp and when done. We just leave everything in them. They fit in the car nice and under the tables at the Comp. Also makes it easier to find what you need

I have 2 of these and love them..... Made by rubbermaid commercial Called DuraBull or Dura Bull cant remember Pros Hold a lot Trays on top for small things Pretty weather proof Stackable Use as chair Durable enough that I stood on one with no problem Cons If you have space restrictions in your vehicle Two person lift most of the time Make sure when walking by it is completely locked or unlocked. Real bad knee scrapes for the locks half open I like them..... Got mine at Rural King for 45.00 each. I think I have seen them at Walmart online before...

I have one of these...it's awesome.
Got it at Lowe's. Super sturdy, holds a big load - unlike other containers that seem to be easily overloaded if you put too much weight in them. I am a big guy and I can stand/sit on this easily. Link: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...725&lpage=none

Thx for the suggestions, I went with the Action Packs. They are sturdy enough to sit on, so we’ll give them a try.
Ashmont, those look even tougher than the ones I got.
